    Dr. Hubert Higgins attended St. Michael’s College School from 1937-1942. After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto, he went on to an outstanding career in the field of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.

    Over his distinguished medical career he received a number of prestigious awards. From 1979 until his return to private practice in 1989 Dr. Higgins served as Physician-in-Chief at St. Michael’s Hospital.

    His three sons Peter ’74, Brian ’81 and Kevin ’91 all graduated form St. Michael’s. He has two grandchildren, Connor ’03 and James, who have also graduated.

    We honour Dr. Higgins for the accomplishments of his professional life, for the deep love of his Catholic faith and for his loyalty to St. Michael’s, with deep pride we placed his name in the order of St. Michael.
