Fr. Brian Higgins, C.S.B. ’45†

Fr. Brian Higgins, C.S.B. graduated from St. Michael’s College School in 1945. Fr. Higgins joined the clergy in 1954, and in 1955, became a member of the St. Michael’s faculty.
While at St. Mike’s, Fr. Higgins was a well-rounded student-athlete, a passion he carried with him as an educator. During his time at St. Michael’s, Fr. Higgins mentored many young men in his teaching of religion, physics, and mathematics, and his coaching in football and hockey. He was also Director of Athletics.
Fr. Higgins was the chaplain of the Toronto St. Michael’s Majors in their first year back in the Ontario Hockey League.
