Sister Susan Moran, O.L.M., CM †
Sister Susan Moran was a member of Our Ladies Missionaries. She joined the staff at St. Michael’s in 1987 as a special education consultant and assisted in the chaplaincy program.
Her concern for the poor and homeless led to the opening of the “Out of the Cold” refuge serving hot meals and donating clothing and groceries to the less fortunate. Her apostolate among the poor and homeless still consumes all her time to the present day.
Sr. Susan was inducted into the Order of St. Michael for her incredible determination to implement such a massive charity program that would feed, shelter, and bring dignity and hope to so many.
