A Closer Look: House System

Among the many changes to the academic and co-curricular programming that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic was the introduction of a brand-new House System at St. Michael’s College School (SMCS).

The overall goals of the programme are to promote belonging among students and facilitate additional opportunities for them to engage in student life at school.

From launching an intramural house soccer league where students play a physically distanced version of ‘human foosball’ within their grade cohorts, to running a virtual house competition with ALIVE Outdoors, the House System is well on its way to accomplishing those goals.
