Homecoming to Celebrate the Spirit of St. Michael’s

As the first month of the 2025-26 academic year comes to an end, St. Michael’s College School (SMCS) gets set to gather for the largest community celebration of the year—Homecoming.

“Homecoming is one of our most treasured traditions at St. Michael’s—a time when our entire community of students, parents, alumni, and friends come together to celebrate our school spirit and the bonds that connect us,” says Kimberley Bailey, Director of Advancement. “This year’s event promises something for everyone, and we can’t wait to see the school pride on full display.”

SMCS Homecoming 2025

Leading up to September 27, staff and students will show their school spirit with a spirit week—each day featuring a different theme where students can dress down and represent their favourite sports team, match their best friend for twin day, and more, all culminating in our double blue day on Friday.

A full day of events is planned for Homecoming, beginning at 8 a.m. with everyone in our community invited to attend, including:

  • SMCS Athletics: soccer, volleyball, basketball and football games
  • Homecoming Concert Band performance
  • Grade 7 Ball Hockey Tournament
  • Alumni Homecoming Hockey Tournament
  • SMCS Parents’ Association used uniform and SMCS branded clothing sale
  • Tailgate BBQ
