Introducing the SMCS Strategic Direction 2025-28

St. Michael’s College School (SMCS) is pleased to introduce the new Strategic Direction 2025-2028. It represents a comprehensive vision that will guide SMCS over the next several years. Our path forward is the result of reflecting on feedback we have gathered from students, parents, alumni, faculty, and staff.

This plan is not just a roadmap for the future—it is a reflection of our enduring commitment to the tradition of Basilian education—educating young men in Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge for a life of leadership and service in faithfulness to Christ.

At St. Michael’s College School:

We are committed to creating a sense of belonging for all by promoting school spirit, celebrating diversity, and connecting and expanding wellness initiatives.

We are committed to ensuring all courses and programmes promote academic excellence with a focus on real-world, authentic experiential learning.

We are committed to supporting excellence in athletics to build character and leadership, by supporting each student athlete’s personal and athletic growth.

Finally, because we believe that service is core to our mission as a Catholic school, we are committed to supporting opportunities for students to grow in faith by promoting opportunities to serve both inside and outside the school.

These core pillars reflect our ongoing commitment to educating young men in Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge as we continue to provide an exceptional educational experience for young men.

We look forward to accepting the challenge to “Be the Good” for one another, for St. Michael’s College School, and for the broader community.
