Spring Concert Series 2026: A Preview

The St. Michael’s College School (SMCS) Music Department is getting ready to wrap up the school year with its annual Spring Concert Series—three evenings that bring together months of hard work and growth.

On Tuesday, May 12, Thursday, May 14, and Tuesday, May 26, public concerts will take place in the Centre for the Arts. Students from all grade levels will perform in a variety of bands and ensembles, sharing what they’ve been working on throughout the year.

Two mini concerts will be held on Wednesday, May 13, specifically for SMCS students and staff.

“The month of May marks a celebration of the arts at SMCS, and the spring concert series is a big part of this celebration,” says James Oatt, Head of the Music Department. “These performances serve as a showcase of the individual and collective growth of our young musicians, but also the final part of the journey for our graduating student-musicians.”

SMCS families, alumni, and friends are encouraged to come out and support. The concerts follow a pay-what-you-can model, with tickets available online and donations accepted either when reserving or at the door.
