Fr. Neil Hibberd, C.S.B. ’58
Fr. Neil Hibberd graduated from St. Michael’s College School in 1958. Fr. Hibberd continued his service to St. Michael’s, teaching from 1963-1966, 1969-1979, and again in 1981.
He coached track and field and developed an outstanding cross-country programme, and he served as chair of the SMCS Board of Directors from 2003 to 2007.
Fr. Hibberd understood that Catholic education should be exercised through academic and moral excellence, and used this standard to produce well-rounded men.
Outside of St. Michael’s, Fr. Hibberd taught at St. Charles College in Sudbury and was a counsellor, chaplain and board member at Assumption University.
