Christmas Arrives at SMCS with Advent in the Courtyard

The spirit of Christmas was in the air at St. Michael’s College School (SMCS) as the community gathered to celebrate an annual tradition, Advent in the Courtyard.

“It’s always a joy to gather with our families as we mark the beginning of the Advent season through prayer and song in anticipation of the birth of Jesus,” says Fr. Andrew Leung, CSB, SMCS President. “Advent in the Courtyard continues to be a peaceful and joyous occasion as we celebrate our faith and the blessings of our community.”

Three hundred guests joined us on campus for Advent vespers, carolling in the courtyard, our tree lighting and blessing of the crèche, and some delicious seasonal refreshments.
