Homecoming Returns to SMCS — Saturday, October 3
One of St. Michael’s biggest traditions is back—Homecoming 2026. Students, parents, alumni, and staff will pack the campus for a full slate of games, the Grade 7 ball hockey tournament, the Concert Band performance, and the 3rd annual Alumni Homecoming Hockey Tournament running all day in the arena.
This year’s event includes a BBQ tailgate at the top of the stadium, featuring everything from coffee and muffins to a hot-off-the-grill hamburger. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available. New this year: a Churro truck on-site! With the arena hosting the alumni hockey tournament, the Alumni Room will be licensed for alumni and friends to gather. The Mporium will also be open for you to get all the spirit wear you need!
“Homecoming is one of the events that really defines our community—alumni who graduated decades ago standing next to this year’s youngest students and parents, all rooting for the same team, proudly singing the same school cheers,” says Kimberley Bailey, Director of Advancement. “It’s not really about any one game. It’s about everybody showing up and celebrating who we are as a community.”
