Here Comes Homecoming!
St. Michael’s College School (SMCS) tradition, school spirit, and camaraderie will come together on Saturday, September 28 as the SMCS community celebrates its annual Homecoming.
“Homecoming is a wonderful celebration of who we are and what we stand for,” says Kimberley Bailey, Director of Advancement. “It is heartwarming to see not only every constituency in our dynamic community represented but also several generations of each. The energy and happiness that permeates our campus during Homecoming is truly unique.”
Here are five fast facts you need to know about Homecoming 2024:
- New Alumni Hockey Tournament – six teams of alumni will compete for the title of inaugural SMCS Alumni Homecoming Hockey Champions!
- New Food Vendor – we are excited to welcome neighbourhood restaurant Albert’s Real Jamaican Foods as an addition to the traditional BBQ
- Used Uniform Clothing Sale – all gently used and cleaned uniform donations will be available for sale
- Face Painting – Students from sister school Holy Name of Mary College School will run a face painting booth to help get fans into the spirit
- Parking – It is important to note that minimal parking will be available, and it’s highly recommended that you travel to campus by public transit.
