Student Success

Student success is about much more than just marks. To support every boy in discovering his potential, our dedicated educators use an integrated approach.

Through a coordinated network of care, we strive to help each student embrace his capabilities, navigate challenges, recognize opportunities for growth, and celebrate accomplishments at school and elsewhere.

Multi-disciplinary expertise from classroom teachers, guidance counsellors, to social work and wellness professionals, provide our students and their family with a nexus of support and resources.

Using a cohesive approach involving multiple departments, our student success formula means each student and his family can tap into an array of services focused on helping them achieve success.

The Student Affairs Department, dedicated Guidance Counsellors assigned to each student, Learning Strategists within the Learning Enrichment Centre, a Wellness Officer, School Nurse, Spiritual Life Coordinator, and two Basilian priests are among the holistic network of professionals available for individual needs.

Certified Athletic Therapists on staff support any physical injury that may occur on the field of play or any activities held on campus.

Specializing in musculoskeletal injuries, the Athletic Therapy Clinic supports sports-related rehabilitation plans, Return-to-Learn, and Return-to-Play protocols following a concussion and referrals to external sports medicine specialists.

Classroom teachers as well as the Dean of Students and Vice Principals are also on hand to assist with ensuring each boy is formed in goodness, in discipline and in knowledge — pivotal to their success now and in the future.

Whether academically, psychologically, spiritually or in other ways, our staff of educators and other professionals is available to support the social-emotional learning journey of each student during their formative high school years.

This constellation of care framework ensures students feel supported from the moment they become members of our school community, while they are within the school and beyond.

As each student grows and evolves through their adolescent years from boy to young man, our staff of educators and others professional strive to walk with them along a path to success.
